Windows and Doors:
Change summer screens to cool weather storm windows and doors.
Inspect and repair any loose or damaged window locks or latches
Install weather stripping or caulking around windows and doors to prevent drafts and have lower heating bills.
Clean and lubricate garage door hinges, rollers and tracks. Make sure all screws are tight.
Safety Check
1-Make sure smoke detectors have fresh batteries
2-Clean your vents and change your filters (might be time for a professional duct cleaning as well)
3-If your removing your screens, be sure to label them so you remember where they go in the Spring.
4-Clear all gutters of any debris.
