Help bring the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships to St. George! St. George has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to host the 2021 Ironman 70.3 World Championship race. Ironman has been on a worldwide search for the right venue and St. George has been chosen as 1 of 2 finalists. This Tuesday, March 26, the Ironman selection committee will be in St. George to review the course, area and venues to make their final decision. We need to show this committee that we as a community will rally around this effort and show them the St. George spirit that is so prevalent in our community.
The pep rally begins at 6:30 p.m. at Town Square Park (1100 W. Street) in St. George!
Bring the entire family for root beer floats provided by Silver Reef Brewing Co. and Dean Foods; pizza by Little Caesars; and special IRONMAN cookies by The Sugar Cookie. HAWK Radio will be onsite with music and their DJ personalities and local dignitaries will also be present. If you have it, wear some IRONMAN gear! All are welcome. Spread the word!
If chosen, this race will add over $10 million in economic impact to our community and will showcase St. George and the rest of Southern Utah to a worldwide audience.
