For October, we’re going to repeat the showing of a movie that was immensely popular two years ago. It remains the most expensive stretch of interstate highway ever built. It opened St. George and all of Utah to easy access from Las Vegas and Los Angeles. We are talking about Interstate 15 through the Virgin River Gorge. Now you can relive the building of a highway that changed the history of Southern Utah.
On Wednesday, October 24th at 5pm, the science club presents “My Father’s Highway,” an award winning documentary film on the building of I-15 through the Virgin River Gorge. You won’t want to miss the epic insight into the history of our community.
Doors open at 5pm, and program starts at 5:30pm.
You must purchase your ticket in advance.
Tickets are just $1 for Popcorn and the presentation. Remember to get yours before the deadline Wed, Oct. 24th at Noon.
