SunRiver St. George Residents: Science Presentation

If you visit the Field Museum in Chicago, don't miss the opportunity to see Sue, the largest and most complete T-rex skeleton ever found. This incredible fossil find took place in the badlands of South Dakota. 15 years later, Sue was in Chicago. That occurred in the aftermath of long and bitter legal battle. South Dakota lost possession of Sue, and a noted paleontologist wound up in federal prison. Dinosaur 13 documents this epic struggle for ownership of a dinosaur. Ron Smith will also show numerous visuals of various dinosaurs, allowing all of you to see the close connection between dinosaurs and modern birds. The Tyrannosaurus rex has been extinct for 65 million years, yet it still packs a potent legal bite. Watch Dinosaur 13, and you'll know why. Doors open at 5pm. You must purchase a ticket in advance. This adventure takes place in the Ballroom on Tuesday, May 14th, doors open at 5pm. You must purchase tickets in advance.
