Attention Golfers: Changes to Golf Cart Rules

Dear SunRiver Residents & Customers,

As of Oct 1 st, we will be going back to being able to drive in the fairways. That means you will no longer have to take our carts for those of you who have your own personal cart.

With that being said, we are going back to the normal cart rules of pairing up with someone in your group so that there are only 2 carts per group. We are asking everyone to pair up so that there is less damage to the course. We just opened from overseed and if we let everyone take their own cart the course will be damaged beyond repair like it was from March to August when we allowed individual carts. If you feel you are at high risk, then SunRiver would suggest you stay home where you will be safe. We never want you to risk your health, but we are a business and cannot allow the course to be ruined to the point of losing all customers because of course conditions. If you insist to take your own cart, we will accommodate but you will be asked to pay the additional Cart fee of $7.50 per 9 holes to help cover additional cost of course repair.

We are also asking that through the month of October that you use the 90-degree rule from cart path to fairway and back to the path as much as possible. Again, just trying to make this the best golf course that we can.

The circumstance we are in are unconventional. So, we are asking for your understanding that we are doing our best to be able to keep this business open and with doing so keep the course in good condition for all to enjoy for the next year when we can overseed again. I understand the concerns people will have and again suggest if you are concerned, then it is probably best that you keep yourself socially distant from others anyway.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to come in or call Larry at the Pro Shop. Thank you for your understanding in this strange new world we live in. SunRiver Golf Management
