Dinosaurs in Utah
Utah is famously known for its dinosaur history. There are plenty of museums and hikes to learn and explore the dinos and different way of life those millions of years ago. Here are some of what St. George area offers:
Museum
The St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm has thousands of fossilized dinosaur footprints. A 200 million-year-old lake ecosystem is preserved here, with dinosaurs, fishes, sedimentary structures, plants, and other animals. The museum also contains accurate life-restorations of animals from the Early Jurassic, such as Dilophosaurus, Megapnosaurus, Scelidosaurus, and Protosuchus. Visit the classroom for hands-on activies, rotating exhibists, and the gift shop for the full experience!

Hikes

This incredibly easy hike holds some of the most impressive tracks in the area with at least 3 different types of dinosaur tracks.
