Join St. George Races this Saturday, February 2, for Bikestock—a day of bike riding fun for the entire family!

This year’s Bikestock will consist of two fun events, both starting and ending at the Red Cliffs Mall! Along with bike riding for the whole family, there will be games and live music! (All children and adults participating must wear a bike helmet for safety reasons.)

The first event of the day is the Family Fun Bike Ride (beginning at 8:30 a.m.) where families and individuals are invited to join St. George Races on a morning bike ride. Participants will choose between two distances (two- and five-mile rides) on a beautiful  paved trail system throughout Washington. Bike safety inspections will be available, as well as a safety course for younger children—so bring your grandkids! The first 150 pre-registered children will even receive a free t-shirt and bicycle helmet.

The Family Fun Bike Ride is free to the public, and the course will take riders from the Red Cliffs Mall parking lot down city streets where they will connect to the city trail system.

The second event of the day is the Move It! Kids Criterium (beginning at 10 a.m.), where children and teens 15 and under can compete in races against kids their own age. Races will be grouped by age and bike type (bicycles/big wheels). All participants will receive finisher awards, t-shirts and snacks at the finish line so come cheer on your grandkids, neighbors and other children!

Late registration for the Move It! Kids Criterium is $20 through January 30 at 5 p.m. To ensure participant safety, portions of the Red Cliffs Mall parking lot will be closed for the day, as well as one lane on Mall Drive during the Family Fun Bike Ride.
